It might simply be the person who has written the notes misunderstood or a typo. Nobody need worry, either way; if it's genuinely not fixed at the lower altitude, it will be picked up in beta and fixed.

The lower alt bug was fixed server side today.  The above 440 bug is a WIP.

I didn't know there was a 440 bug, and guess the commenters I was responding to didn't. And I guess they didn't know about the server-side fix today, so that should be good news for them. I've not even done a flight near those altitudes for quite some time, so wasn't aware of either bug, personally.

It is still not showing in xBox Insider for me as of yet.

I have a feeling we will fall in love with this sim all over again when this hotfix eventually goes live

I hope they mean the clouds are now reported as AGL.  It's ambiguously worded.

I flew the C700 to FL410 just tonight and it was fine.  Real weather near KCLT.

It’s random. I did 4 flights the last 4 days without hitting any issues, but then hit it yesterday, badly. My A320 almost went inverted at FL390. Luckily stress damage was turned off.

Agreed.  The notes about this in the weather section are ambiguous at best:  "Live weather clouds on ground are now displayed as fog," and "Fixed live weather referring to AMSL instead of AGL."  Neither of those specifically mention that Live Weather clouds shouldn't be on the ground in the first place, let alone that they've done anything to fix them.

The second point does.

The altitude measurement mixup was causing clouds to spawn closer to the ground than they should have.

Well, I have to take my hat off to Asobo, regardless of the flack we throw at them, they must have jumped on to all the reported bugs almost immediately.

Agree totally with @Rockliffe's comment. It is annoying when issues slip through every update. But also keep in mind, there's likely tremendous pressure from MS to get these updates out the door. What is good to see is they seem to react quickly to eliminate these issues. Yes it's not instant, but a hell of a lot better than most other occasions i have witnessed with other software.

Really likeing the desire to fix asap.
