Live weather - stops after 300 nm

Recommended Posts

Hi all! My live weather stops around 300 nm after takeoff. Clouds stop being displayed along a straight line and then there are only clear skies and winds at 225/03.

Happens on every flight since SU7. Anyone with the same issue? Is there any way to fix that?

Thanks for any advice!

I'm using FBW Development version. Also had those temperature spikes above FL240. That seems to be fixed by now. But the problem with the live weather that stops working 300 nm after takeoff persists. Any ideas?

There are locations for which there is no metar and apparently MB works no more. I couldn’t get live weather yesterday in an airport NE of Beijing for instance.

Usually, I'm flying out of Zurich. No matter, which direction I go, live weather stops being injected after 300 nm.

At the moment, I'm flying from LSZH to ESSA. Live weather was working fine from LSZH up to somewhere southwest of Berlin. Then suddenly wind changed form 230/49 to 225/03 and no more clouds which means live weather is gone.

Live WX is borked right now. They are targeting fixes which are being discussed here at Avsim as the “hotfix” in separate threads. I would expect it to remain borked until the hotfix is released so one could fly clear skies for now for a seamless flights.

Was suffering the same and couldn't solve it. Until today I hope. I take it you use FSUIPC? I uninstalled it together with the combined icon to start MSFS. FInally I had a smooth flight with live weather all the way. Not sure if it is just FSUIPC in the community folder or the combined icon. I need to make more flights to see what happens and reinstall some of the components, but at least this is a start solving it. Hope it works for you too!
