I'm using Duck Duck Go and it's better but now I cannot login on any mobile browser.  There's a little background drop-down window that covers the login screen (and covers the 3 horizontal bars navigation menu / notification area)

On PC the ads aren't too bothersome as they're tiny compared to the rest of my monitor.  On mobile the ads take nearly 1/4 of the screen (DDG removes many but the top bar issue remains).

I'm pretty annoyed by this so I'm taking the time to email myself screenshots, upload them, and post them here.

Is there no response from the admins about this?  Why are there so many ads?  Avsim was not always like this.

This sudden ad explosion is unfortunate. 

I see exactly the same as Ryan. Using the forum on my phone is just a poor user experience, cant even access my notifications due to top banner blocking it. 

What is going on?

Have you tried adjusting the screen size on your phone?  Maybe take Bert's advice in his post above!

That's a wee bit above my know-how but thankfully the ads aren't really a big deal to me; they just stops me from seeing my notifications.

Same here. I thought my phone had some sort of virus until I read this topic.

If you log out on mobile you can't get back in - that little white blank rectangle covers the bar that would normally be above Sign Up

Yeah what I do is refresh the page, and before the top ad loads I can click the button. If I'm too slow I just refresh and try again.

It's super annoying, but I'll pick my battles. I complained back when YouTube had ads all over the screen and now they're in the videos every four minutes instead.

If something like that was introduced, a better experience with no adds for contributors, that would get my thumbs up.

Sorry,no I won't disable the ad blocker. Just reading thru this thread is good enough reason to keep it running ALL the time.I'd rather pay a fair amount per month/year than have to put up with word not allowed you allow to be painted all over your website.

If they Avsim calculated how many people minimum and how much money monthly to support themselves. I would kick in $5 or $10 a month to support the resources and have no banners.

Use Adblock browser available in both iPhone and play store. Works great. We mods are suffering the same.
