This looks good and can't wait for them to release it.

Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus

Without photorealistic Towns, Buildings, textures etc. it has no chance.

Fantastic, !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Pastaiolo.

That will come after every airport in the world being realistic by default or it wouldnt be able to call itself a flight simulator with a straight face.

also, aircraft systems are pretty important

Also take these shots with the grain of salt that only airports that have gotten the "XP12 special treatment" are looking like this. This means that someone (in the above cases Laminar team members) have improved the airports with new assets available in XP12.

All airports will immediately benefit a lot from new XP12 textures (I know from firsthand experience 😉) - but to get the full benefit of all the new "scenery goodies" like different surface and edge weathering, etc. will take a human Gateway artist to implement.

 Very nice!

What are all those Austrian planes doing in Seattle? 🤣

Where does it say "Seattle" on the image?

You can make "If you want that, you gotta do it yourself, wait until someone else finds the (spare) time or open your pocket again" sound like a really good thing when someone has bought a product that is not marketed as incomplete and I think that's awesome.

Laminar Research customer -- Asobo/MS customer -- not an X-Aviation customer - or am I? 😉

Makes one wonder why is an airport gateway like in x-plane is one of the most requested features in the other one.

Also, to get a gateway airport there is no need to open your pocket. Just wait for the next update/download manually.

Something is going on with XP clouds, it's all blurry and hazy turned up to the Max 🤔

Another one aimed to derail the thread. I wonder if the mods will act or not, look carefully where it all starts.

And to say what is wrong:

1) No one knows if clouds are on "max", hence, a typical and carefully chosen word for misinformation.

2) This preview and thread is about global airports while there are literal quotes that anything besides that is under heavy WIP.
