To win11 or not to win11?

With WIN10 running satable and no issues, what are the advantages of Win11, & I don't me an cosmetically wise, but those that can influence significantly the Sim Performance (Mem Manager CPU Opt, Etc )

I have found that I can indeed 'bypass' the M.S.  lock out for not having a 'approved CPU and no TPM module.  

You can edit one file, that shuts the install down on the above non-approved system(s),  and so I started the install via a USB flash.

Everything went normal, but just before the actual install, a M.S. message in the program came up, to warn me that my system does NOT have the two required assets,  an approved CPU, and the TPM chip...and that upon successful installation,  there would be no further support and/or update/downloads for my system.  So...with that warning, I just shut it down and backed it off.  I have support for W10 from M.S. until 2024, so I won't sweat it...and by that time...(if I'm still alive...),  I'll probably want to buy another 'then current' rip-snorting M.B.  that will have a rip-snorting CPU and the TPM built and installed upon that M.B.   So...all good...as W11 is not in any way, revolutionary .just truly a W10 tweak, and poke, here and there...

I'm an IT person and this is just 2c... I can never understand why people feel the need to upgrade to something untested in true MS fashion? So now you have to have an approved CPU and other approved hardware, just because MS says so?

Ridiculous if you ask me... Stick with what you have seen that it's running without fault (Which in MS terms is a miracle). Don't go looking for trouble as you won't find any help from MS.

There is absolutely 0 benefit in upgrading.

There is absolutely 0 benefit in upgrading.

More than zero if you are running a 12 series chip with p cores and e cores.  Windows 11 is programmed to handle this.
