MSFS Kodiak releasing tomorrow

Do Kodiaks have deicing boots? Wonder if they work.

Simmarket has it now too. But the conversion to Canadian dollars is roughly $54. That's less than PMDG DC-6 but not by a wide margin. For that money, it better have some complexity and perfect flight dynamics. Looking forward to reviews.

I haven't purchased yet (rarely have time to fly anyway) but I feel the price is too high - maybe with floats and skis it's more reasonable.

Glass cockpit ....

Not a bad thing.  Uses WT g1000 NXi - which, at the moment, is the most complete and capable navigation system in MSFS.

That, and the real plane uses it hehe.

Textures look up to par at least!  I'm at work but I'll consider it.  C337 comes first though hehe.

It's more a matter of taste. I prefer steam gauges 🙂

Ahhh gotcha.  I generally do as well - but I like a mixed panel - something I might find irl in GA today.  So like a 6 pack /HSI plus GTN 650/750 etc. Or G5s/Aspen for ADI and EHSI.

G5 is pretty much mini G1000 LOL What is the difference?

I didn't say I was opposed to the g1000.  I actually prefer the the GTN 750 over the 1000 (real life and sim).  Although the rxp version is the one I want.

Looks like they'll charge another 30+ Euro for the floats version, when released?.
