Some noobish questions amout vista and DX10

Hi everyone, i have a few questions regarding vista and DX10..1. Will i see a big performance increase in FSX with vista and DX10 installed (DX9 and XP now)?2. What's the best DX10 compatible graphics card for about

1. Possibly but no one knows yet. We need to wait for the DX10 patch later this year.2. You need a DX10-compliant card, not just a DX10-compatible card. "Smoothness" is likely to be more a function of CPU speed than video card RAM, but if I were buying a DX10 card I'd look for a minimum of 512MB.Doug

Also, the new midrange nVidia 8600 has h.264 decoding built into the hardware. This means that HD DVD and Blue Ray Movies can be played on your PC without much CPU usage. Check your power supply ratings to be sure there is no problem there. This card requires a minimum of 350W with at least 20A on the 12V rail. And that's 350 Premium Watts - not just some PSU manufacturers wishfull thinking.Doug
