Flight level difference

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I have a difference betwen the FL of my plane and the FL reported by Aivlasoft or VATSIM.

ex : now i fly from LFPG to DUBLIN and my FL of my plane is 280 (1013HPA) but AIVLASOFT report 270 and VATSIM also 270. Yesterday i check with a ATC online in VATISM and the ATC see my plane FL and not AIVLA or VATSIM report

I'm open to all sugestions

Thank you

Might also be a quirk with MFS's weather.

The other day I was cruising at FL 350 and all of a sudden my C400 lost speed, started losing altitude, thrust wasn't modified... It turned out to be due to a failure to communicate with the Azure servers, which probably caused the Temperature or Pressure or both as well as air density toi change dramatically in an instant 😕

Yes Nicolas you are correct, we tend to forget that step with Aivlasoft EFB, I generally do it every time I buy a new airport add-on about twice a month.

Yes if you add a airport or a add on airport, EFB has no idea where that airport is, or if taxiways and runways have changed, unless you update the server database. Only take a couple of minutes. You need to do that after an MSFS update too.
