TFDI Design 717 Airac version Prep3d v5.2

Recommended Posts

Is there somewhere I can check the above?

  • The SIDS, Stars etc appear to be very old.
  • Importing flight plan only show Departure and arrival, no waypoints.
  • Had problem creating FPL folder.  C:\Users\Dash8\Documents\SimObjects\Airplanes\TFDi_Design_717\Documents\Company Routes

The path is where you have Prepar3d installed and then \SimObjects\Airplanes\TFDi_Design_717\Data.

Hope it helps.

The file that works, ver 1610, is in the design_717 folder (Replaced with latest version

The Data folder has .db3 and .mdb

I have tried 3 data paths, none of them work.

You can update the navdata on TFDi 717. You just need a Navigraph subscription or buy the latest cycle. You can use Navigraph’s own software to update all you supported addons or download each cycle individually for every addon that you own.

It is an automated process. You can’t just replace the file individually I believe.

Navigraph updates work fine for me for the TFDI 717. I’m using the Navigraph’s FMC updater and it detected the correct path automatically (use the scan function). Just remember to press save afterwards and then re-download the AIRAC data.

Not auto detecting, had set set manually.  TRied several datapths.

Try (YOUR P3D ROOT FOLDER)\SimObjects\Airplanes\TFDi_Design_717. DON'T choose the data folder, the navigraph data manager will choose that folder and do the rest.

Works for me, but I feel your frustration, hope it works out getting back your refund.  Maybe AeroSoft NavData Pro will work out better.  I tried it out it has a really nice interface though I don't know if all addons support it in cockpit EFBs. You may want to research that aspect before buying it if you decide to give it a try.

Thanks, but I have been using Navigraph for years.  The last thing I need is to introduce more potential problems.
