December 31, 20214 yr As the year 2021 ends, the year 2022 will be rich in output. A new project has emerged to bring joy to many jet fighter enthusiasts of the Soviet era: the legendary MiG-21 will soon arrive on Microsoft Flight Simulator. GKS the developer, promises to publish a very detailed MiG-21Bis model with authentic flight dynamics, based on a military training simulator. In addition, the package will come with a realistic autopilot system and even a drag chute. This project will be the result of two years of development and will be available in two versions: Standard and Extended. The plan is to launch the aircraft in early 2022. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acHhXIZHUVU https://www.aviasimhd.com/ Wishing you a good year 2022 and good flights. 😉 Guillaume ASUS ROG STRIX X870 ▪︎ AMD RYZEN 9950X OC 5.5 GHz▪︎ ASUS ROG ASTRAL RTX 5090 OC ▪︎ 32GB 6600 Crucial Ballistix ▪︎ Windows 11 Pro (25H2) ▪︎ 4x Samsung 990 Pro 2TB NVME SSD (OS Drive et MSFS) ▪︎ Corsair RMX 1000W 80 plus Gold PSU ▪︎ LIAN-LI ODYSSEY X black case

December 31, 20214 yr Looking forward to it! Was due in November but seems to be running behind. Presumably won't have the loadout manager or weapons involved if released on the Marketplace (per policy), so will likely grab the Simmarket version. Having used their P3D version, it's a very in-depth model, and is a great supplement to the DCS aircraft for those that want to fly a high fidelity MiG in a different part of the world. Hopefully those asking "why?" and "what's the point", both here and observed elsewhere, are asking the same of every other developer who makes military aircraft (or maybe it's due to it being Soviet, or having a nice model in DCS?) for MSFS.
