ASCA ?

hey guys iam back using  ASCA after many years with Skyforce , must say aim very impressed with the improvements looks great in v5.3, just one question , does ASCA need to be running along side ASP3D or once you have chosen your  textures etc can it be closed ?

@sonny147, no, leave ASCA running. It minimises to the System Tray and will close when ASP3D closes.

Make sure you choose the Full Dynamics theme. That works best with ASP3D.

yes Ray I have set Full dynamics , just reinstalling everything after a pc meltdown , very impressed with latest ASCA, on a different topic , just installed FTX Global but decided to install direct into the sim ( old way) instead of Orbx library following a tip and happy with the result

What benefit did you see with installing global directly?

I think its little more fluid to me , rather  than having it externally in a library , JMI

I make sure both Active Sky and Cloud Art are in the taskbar below.  Even though when I open Active Sky, I see Cloud Art come up quickly.  I guess it remains active every time you activate Active Sky.  But I feel better opening both and seeing their icons in the taskbar.  Probably not necessary if it's in the tray, but just a habit I guess.

Agree with you. Not sure what hifi did, but I think it looks great in 5.3 also.
