Comments or Reviews of SeriesX from simflyer.net

They have only a little more "functionality" than the default FSX GPS, but they definitely LOOK a whole lot nicer! ;)

Of course they look better than default! here is something you can spend a little time to try: take the Meridian GNS bezel bitmap, and then overlay that in photoshop with the simflyer GNS bezel bitmap...

IMO RXP and Simflyer gauges are not in the same league or zip code. The RXP gauge are far superior in every aspect including graphics, functions, preferences and facsimiles of the real gauges. The Simlyers gauges are default gauges with a few extras. Bob..

I agree with Jeff...I can't comment on the quality of the SeriesX stack since I don't currently own anything but the default gauges/stack for FSX, but IMO the RXP stack will be worth the wait.I purchased the Dreamfleet Piper Dakota FS9 version only because they are offering a free upgrade to the FSX version when available. So, even though I use FSX for everything else now, I can still jump into this fantastic Dreamfleet model in FS9 while I'm waiting for the FSX version. The DF Dakota has the RXP GNS430 (and other RXP gauges), so since they are promissing a free upgrade to the FSX version, it can't be that far off into the future. Lou Betti (Dreamfleet) is working closely with Reality-XP, so there must be something in the works.I'm really enjoying the RXP GNS430 (and the Dakota). For me, the realism and working features of the GNS make GA flying as fun as a fully functional FMC does in big-iron flying. I won't go back to the default stack.Jason

>Came across this thread after doing a search for Simflyers>hoping to find out how their Garmins compare with those from>RXP as I am starting to despair that we will never see RXP>Garmins in FSX - last update from the developers on progress>is dated April 2007. Just a note:"simflyers" (airport scenery shop) <> "simflyer" (gauge shop). Causes problems when doing searches.scott s..
