All the new CFD simulation, proper propwash, wake turbulence, proper stall, ground effect with propeller. That's exciting.

Agreed. Seb even mentioned that these physics updates are a possible gateway to visual effects such are wing condensation, cloud wake turbulence etc.

The idea that MSFS is only a scenery simulator is just plain ridiculous after what I have seen today.

Just curious here about some of the newly mentioned prop physics...does this mean that propeller drag will soon be working?

We already know where those quotes come from, the naysayers just want MSFS to go away so they can fly their 1990's sims again and put duck tape on a broken branch.

Well, I can certainly see that from both sides.  I started with FS 5.1, and it was enough to get me to fall in love with it, despite (or maybe because) it didn't have all the things a real pilot would deal with.  I created a ton of stuff for the older sims, and here I am some 25+ years later still using MSFS.

Refactoring FSX code is always good to hear.

I know this isn’t an important topic, but was hoping to hear something about tobii being supported to offer 6dof…I’ve been holding out on buying trackir and tobii until I can figure out if tobii will be supported for 6dof.

Three included with MSFS2020. The information will be shared with aircraft devs for them to use it in their 3PD aircraft as they see fit. We will see it everywhere (hopefully).

The code can be added to other aircraft.

Well, this is one of the most positive twitch sessions I have seen up to now.  Looks like they have their mojo back (and I don't even know what that means! ).

I find it funny that they were positively surprised at DLSS, but at least they listened and finally took a look at it.
It could be the next big performance boost hopefully, although quite a bit in the future if it is only DX12, as I find DX12 very buggy at the moment, and some 3P aircraft crash right out.

Can't DLSS be run under DX11?  (showing my ignorance here), and isn't there a newer / better version called DLDSR or something like that?

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

So RSR being a drama queen for not probably reading the documentation and he released a long page ranting for a simple issue lol.
