Garmin 530/430 in C172 classic Direct To button not working

Good afternoon,

I haven't flown the sim in several month.  Did a VFR flight today in the C172 and tried to enter a destination using the Direct To button in the G530 but it didn't work.  I couldn't get the GPS to let me enter specific letters nor numbers.   Is this now a known problem using the GPS in this aircraft? In the past it worked fine.   Any thoughts?

If you have the PMS GNS mod you may have to update your GNS.  If stock I'm not sure.

As this works fine for the rest of us, you would propably need to decsrcibe exactly the steps of what you are doing.

Are you using a modded GNS530 ?

Any mods at all ?

Which cockpit interaction Mode are you using ? 

Any peripherals involved ?

I use Lock Mode, so YMMV if you use the other cockpit interaction mode.
