February 1, 20224 yr I can't set a cargo weight in the FBW A320. As per FBW documentation, I should be able to set an amout for CARGO manually: "Once the above weights are accounted for you can input remaining weight (cargo weight) in a X.X format denoting metric tonnes." Tried to fill in "1.5" and "1500" but both options don't work and I've already tried opening the cargo door via EFB too. I do not use simBrief but I enter values manually. This works for PAX numbers but not for cargo weights. Using 0.7.4 stable version. Even if I set a PAX number like in the second screenshot, CARGO remains greyed out. Any hints for me what I'm doing wrong?

February 1, 20224 yr Author Thanks @David Roch, I've checked the EFB and the only thing I can load via the EFB is fuel. Via the W&B page in the MCDU, I can load PAX but I still haven't found out how to get some cargo onboard 😔 Quote from the aircraft documentation https://docs.flybywiresim.com/fbw-a32nx/feature-guides/loading-fuel-weight/#weights-and-balance: "Once on the W&B page (2/2) you can adjust payload here or accept the numbers provided to you via your simBrief OFP." The EFB documentation has the following: "BAGGAGE -> Calls the baggage service if available at the current airport and gate. Baggage service will open the cargo door, load baggage and then close the cargo door automatically." I know that the baggage weight is determined by the PAX count but that doesn't explain how to tell the ground handling guys how much additional cargo I want to carry on top. 😔
February 1, 20224 yr Commercial Member I’m pretty sure it’s integrated with simbrief, you click send after you’ve generated a flight plan then click load / start to start boarding and cargo loading
February 1, 20224 yr If I'm not wrong manual cargo load is not possible at the moment due to limitations with flightmodel definitions. It will done automatically according to passenger count right now. We will change that as soon as possible.

Thanks for your reply @Watsi That's not a show stopper for me, just leaving the cargo on the ground at the moment 😄 I was really impressed by the Working Title CJ4 already and just yesterday I thought I'll use quarantine time to get to know the A320 and I'm even more impressed by your work!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I admit to usually start warm and bright but cannot start boarding then. Unless I do something wrong? Finally no empty plane anymore 😉 Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"
