Digital Aviation Fokker Problem

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I´m running the Digital Aviation Fokker under Windows 7. Everything works fine, after several minutes the displays stop working.

Already unistall and install again, but having same problem. Don´t know where to contact in flight 1.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

If you follow the above link to their website, they explicitly say that this aircraft is not supported when run under Win8 or Win10 but that it .... MAY .... work under Win7 !!! Doesn't sound very trustworthy to me and I would therefore definitely want to avoid it.

There are plenty of other (freeware) Fokkers to be found though.

Good luck

Thanks!

I also think that it doesnt work really good in Windows 7...I think problem comes from digichk4.dll.

Don´t know why they dont make it fully compatible. It was really nice addon...

It did work in Windows 7. I remember there was an update that fixed some GDI issues that affected Win7 users, but not Vista ones. Download latest installer from F1 and try again. If it does not work, try submitting a ticket to them.

Hi,

First of all I believe you have updated 'digichk4.dll'? Please do if you haven't.

So, in this way we can work around this glitch:

Whenever the displays stop working, just save the flight and load, it will refresh the displays. Do remember to save the flight plan in FMC Maintenance menu (you can also load FS flight plan from there), so that you can continue with the navigation.

This is the best way I found so far, hope it helps!

Hi, sorry, if you run WIN7 you won't need the digichk4.dll update. I assume the save/load method would work.

Cheers!
