As the cockpit integration is so new to this product we'll have to patient for it to be integrated into the Carenado fleet.  I'm not affiliated with TDS I'm just saying this as an old RXP/F1 (and now TDS) customer.  I recall these integrations didn't happen overnight hehe.

Ryan, in fairness, since TDS is hyping the integration in their announcements one would believe the first FAQ they would post would include a current list.  I have not found one.  PMS has a table on their site.

It's on the TDS site...in fact it's right on Tim's link in the first post

The 650Xi is also included?

Also, I am wondering, why they are able to release such a product, the 750xi, and not Reality-XP

Probably because they are busy. Busy writing posts on pretty much every forum out there about how impossible it is to develop for MSFS.

The fact that the PMS 750 (free or paid) can as well be integrated into a series of planes, begs the question which one would be preferred where both options are available.

Kind regards, Michael

At present, the TDS version has the clear benefit of having proper Garmin flight plan management, along with complete modeling of the GTN screens, and full autopilot integration with RNAV LPV approach guidance. (Although the vertical glideslope needle still seems to be MIA...?)

As WT and Asobo clean up the MSFS Garmin avionics over time, this may no longer be as clear a benefit, since I would assume the PMS unit would inherit  this updated logic.  The WT G1000 NXi shows how this can be done..

At  present, the PMS unit still has the weird MSFS approach logic, and minor irritants like the flight plan page not scrolling forward as you fly the flightplan.  Also no rubberbanding the flightplan on the map page.

Personally, I am going for the RV14 and the TDS GTN.. that, to me, is just irresistible.   🙂

Maybe several months from now, the PMS unit will have caught up.. lets see!

I guess what’s throwing me off is that the video highlights the Mooney, yet there’s no indication that it’s actually available. I can wait.

Thanks, Bernd. Given I already bought the TDS (for rare use on a 2nd screen) I'll see how that integration works, now that I mostly fly under VR.

Kind regards, Michael

Too bad that the TDS don't integrate with Navigraph. I wonder if that is on their todo list?

Based on the P3D experience, this is very unlikely...  The Garmin navdata and Navigraph are two incompatible entities.

Garmin navdata, is what you get if you have a real world Garmin unit in your airplane.  Navigraph is a flight simulation implementation.  Unfortunately, two different things entirely.

Bert

Thank you for that explanation. I guess for 98% of all flights it will be more than good enough.

great news, has any of you tried this with a default plane yet (if i understood correctly it should work with default planes that have the G1000 if you temporary disable the g1000 WKT mod)

So i tried, downloaded the little panel config for the C208 available on the TDS site but all i get is a black screen, not sure if i do something wrong though. The TDS manager seems to recognize everything is installed and that it should work in 'gauge' mode but in sim i just see nothing.

Thank you 🍻

Do you have the external program running?
