I very much doubt that avsimmers are too concerned about Data and privacy.

If you were to develop a popular addon and the fine print reads: We will sell your data to Satan!, avsimmers' response would be: Take my money, please! and First day buy, for sure! Ha ha.

Couldn't agree more, in fact it's not just the many of us here at Avsim but also most other gaming hobbyists as well 🙄

Gamers are an odd bunch, no doubt.

turbomax and Murray,

Thank you for letting us know of the problems on our website in regards to the privacy policy. We appreciate that you took your time to look into them and to point them out. Indeed, we have had a old privacy policy section which needed some cleanup, which we have done. I can assure all our customers and potential customers that TDS Sim Software holds privacy of the data very strictly and adheres to all local and EU regulations in regards to protecting data to its customers. Our company has been incorporated since 2009, the time stands testament that we are who we say that we are. Nobody is perfect, but we strive to do better each day.

Yes, it may be very easy to compare a small company from a different country to Microsoft and in all fairness, we are small, but it is the small companies that help make this hobby great, with all the add-ons that are developed and built on top of Microsoft's simulators. Are we absolutely certain that big companies never have any data breaches? Since if we read news articles, we hear of massive data breaches from big companies quite frequently.

I sincerely hope that being from Romania is not an impediment, but an advantage to show that as a community we are international and we all strive toward the same goals. It is the high quality of our product that we hope that will prevail, along with the support that we offer so can be sure that all our customers are pleased with their purchase!

As always, we are very open to discussion with all our potential customers, if you have any questions, advice or feedback towards us, we would greatly appreciate if you would contact us about it.

Hello,

has anybody tried this gauge in VR?

Is it possible to display a pop-up window of the GTN well usable in VR?

great. but why do you collect and share user usage data then? anything beyond what is absolutely necessary for the sale transaction should not be collected.

well it is, that's where Dracula came from. Is he still around?

The statement was there to exemplify only the minimum data that is absolutely necessary for the installation and use of the product, no other usage or monitoring data is collected. Thank you for all this advice.

I am not sure how Romania could be an impediment and what a fictional character such as Dracula has to do with our business. Such discussion is beyond the scope of what we do here.

Isn't it time you gave this a break ?

You made your point, and it has been addressed by the developer.

Obviously you don't  have the software.  If you did, you would appreciate the great work that has been put into this product.

exactly, I was going to purchase it because I had his previous GTN version from Flight1 for P3D, but for the reasons I had mentioned above I am reluctant.

Google already owns everyone hehe....  there's probably more things on this very forum collecting data.  At least when I run my other browser it blocks a lot of data tracking items.

I just read that Just Flight will release a new update tomorrow that includes the TDS GTNXi VC integration for their PA-28 fleet.

Here is another interesting video:

This page on Avsim has 5 different trackers watching me. Main page of the TDS website has 0 trackers. That's a zero.

My opinion is you're worried about the wrong guy.

Friend, since his service and payment / data collection services and processes are passing EU Data Laws then I believe you will be fine purchasing this product online.

My 2 cents,

Having it in the dashboard is ok. But i must say i like the ability to have a window open for it like pms50 does. Is it or will it be a thing. I just find it handy and easier to use for myself.
