You only have one chance...PMDG, Fenix or Maddog?

Featured Replies

If all three were on the same day then it would be Maddog - something different from the stream of Airbus and Boeing.  If the question was three separate days, then all three obviously 😁

Dash 8 Q400. And otherwise the Fenix one. 😉

If it had to be just one then it would be a very difficult decision.

I think the Fenix by a small margin over the PMDG 737.

If you asked my 1 yr ago I would have gone for PMDG alone. Then came the FBW and that‘s my favorite now. So Fenix a safe buy for me. Nonetheless, being grown up with PMDG planes like especially the 747 and of course the 737 I will also buy the latter now even though I will need a new type rating after having flown the 320 now for many months. Not so sure about the MD, tbh. Could skip that like I did with the DC6 though it was tempting, could resists so far and can now also wait some few more weeks until the 737 is out, I am more into the screens but dials as my flying usually happens during home office hours <cough cough> and requires a reasonable amount of automated flying during simultaneous conference calls, PowerPoint and funny cost center controlling

I have a thing for 737's...

mad dog all the way!!!

7900x3d , 64gb 6200mhz 30CL Ram, RTX 3080

As much as I would like to have all of them, I would never have enough time to give them all the same love and attention that they deserve. Since I have been flying the 737 since FS9 and therefore know the plane a bit, I stick with it.... To old to learn new tricks 😁

Wow all the big boys r coming out.

PMDG gotta have

after that I will go for the maddog

10700kf, 3080 nividia, 32gbs 3400mhz, 1,000 watts power, M.2 DVMe !tb, boot, 1tb 7200rpm, storage, windows 10 home

If I could only have one, it would be the 737, because it's more of a 'jump in and go' airliner than the others, but since I can have all of them, this is not something I have to really worry about.

You can always watch videos of justplanes, it will help you to review your skills on the 737.

About that, is possible to activate the autothrottle, autopilot and manipulate the FCU "HDG, SPEED, etc..." without aligning the INS?

Anyway to do it during flight?
