Download MSFS that was purchased a year ago?

Featured Replies

I am trying to help out a friend who purchased MSFS last year but has yet to download the software.

He purchased from the MS store, and has the invoice, so is there a link he can click on to download the software?

If your friend has a login to the Windows Live account that they originally purchased the software on, he should be able to login to MS Store and download it.

Bill,

Tell your friend to log into the MS Store (press the windows key, type "store", press enter).

If it remembers his login credentials, he should be logged in automatically.

At the bottom left of the application, you should see "Library". Click that.

At the top of the library screen you will see 5 oval shaped buttons. Make sure "All" or "Games" is selected. "Games" gives you a shorter list.

Scroll down in the list and he should see "Microsoft Flight Simulator: Standard Edition" (May be "Deluxe Edition", etc.). On the right side, he should see "Install from Xbox App". Click that and follow the prompts.
