Great video of FBW A320 ambient sounds

Featured Replies

A post up on reddit showcasing various ambient sounds on the FBW A320. As is usual when it comes to MSFS, I have to pause and do a double take at times, as it's hard to differentiate reality from in-game!

Thats a nice edit. I liked the sounds when i heard them from the cockpit. but i never heard it from the cabin. I probably need to set up those extra cabin views now since its sounding real word not allowed authentic back there !

Are these sounds part of the FBW? Sounds so real! I really wish there was an addon to make the plane fly itself so that we can focus on being a virtual "passenger" and move about the cabin to watch those amazing takeoff and landings. Those are the best parts of flying. I know there's replay feature and tools available, but i'd rather have a virtual pilot fly the entire route for me while I sit back and enjoy the amazing visuals. I someday hope there will be an addon for this. Where you can simulate the entire process from checking in, to boarding the plane, and then once you reach your destination, get off the plane and walk around the airport to explore, etc.

Yes, these sounds is FBW in Experimental version. (probably DEV version as well)

No matter what, you're always going to at least have take the plane off. You can turn the autopilot on at 100 feet above the ground, though.

That defeats the purpose. I want to be able to sit in the cabin to watch the taxi, departure, takeoff phase. I can't do that if I have to switch to the cockpit to do things like that. That breaks the immersion of being a passenger.

It's over two years since I last stepped foot on an airliner because of Covid, I almost forgot what it was like to fly on my holidays in a big Jet.... I got goose bumps watching that. I just need to convince the wife that it's safe to travel abroad again on an airliner. Thanks for sharing.
