Wow, then yes there is something with my machine or a setting that is off. Any advice where I start to fix this issue?

This is frustrating since I built this PC for MSFS and it's fairly new sonit does not have alot of "junk files"

On the latest Nvidia drivers too

Have you tried with no AIG, and empty Community Folder?

When you do that try manually deleting your Content.xml file (it rebuilds itself), and deleting your Nvidia shader cache, before you retest.

Yes tried with empty community folder and no AIG, but will try deleting Nvidia shader cache and content.xml.

Where would I go about deleting the Nvidia Shader Cache and content.xml?

I appreciate everyone's help with this

NVidia shader cache can be deleted by going to the Disk Cleanup > select the C drive > select Direct X shader cache only > hit OK.

Content.xml for Steam users is in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator

I would also suggest going to your NVidia Control Panel > Manage 3D settings > then Restore

Bill, I noticed something peculiar on your screencaps - you are limited by RDRThread.

I searched for what that could be, and one big offender seemed to be a program called Citrix workspace.  Uninstalling that fixed it for a number of users.

For some others, it required a Windows reinstall as even just a FS reinstall didn't fix it.

It's been fixed, I have a constant 30 externally now since it's locked at 30. I had to turn off Nvidia Control panel FXAA option.

Oh yeah, FXAA can drag things down.  I'm a little surprised it did that with your 3070 card though.

Sorry, I don't remember where.

I use all of the available water fix mods and can assure you they have zero effect on performance/FPS.  If you did read somewhere they cause an FPS drop, I am pretty sure it is false information.
