April 6, 20224 yr @Flysimware In the interest of helping painters to create more liveries for this great plane, I respectfully request the following for future paintkit updates to help make painting this plane a pleasurable experience vs hair-pulling one. (@ryanbatc can relate) 🙂 UV maps aka Wireframe, UV maps, etc. - These are a MUST for this aircraft! Especially on the 06 and 08 maps (The engine nacelles for those uninitiated in painting lingo)...this is so we can properly draw the stripes around the compound curves all over the nacelles (obviously). Plus it's impossible to use the paint overlaid on the map to gauge the wireframe boundaries as we all know that we commonly paint just past them to cover a pixel or two that may be on the very edge of the line. Plain white textures with either weathering/details on discrete layers or none at all. (I saw you're doing that soon, great!) I have already done this and uploaded my textures here: https://flightsim.to/file/30396/flysimware-414-all-white-and-polished-textures The size of the paintkit...over 6GB? In 20 years painting I have never seen a paintkit this large, even for large airliners with 4-6 main fuse maps at 4096...this kit has only 2 4096 maps for the main fuse (thank you for that!)...but still, the organization and separate PSDs for every main map is crazy at the sizes they are...please make them smaller. I am more than happy to offer assistance in paintkit optimization. Straight lines on fuse and especially the engine nacelles are painted straight as an arrow, but undulate a lot when viewed close up. Not sure what an be done for this. Major parts labeling - Oh my there are parts everywhere on these maps! (I understand why). However, it would help painters tremendously if you could label major parts as they are literally scattered everywhere, and all over many maps! Please let me know if I can help, I really enjoy flying this plane and want to give the community some nice paints to fly. 😉 Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

In all cases, when a plane veers of RWY I restart the scenario and the majority of the time the plane performs as expected the second time around. While I too see this as a bug I believe it is more platform related and less specific plane related. YMMV. TANSTAAFL -B Thanks for the tipe. I will, give that a try. In my mind, It doesn’t quite explain why a takeoff from runway 23 does not have the same issue though. This was all in one and the same session. jack
April 6, 20224 yr 12 hours or so on the Hobbs meter now throughout the various versions. Crosswind capability greatly improved / fixed in version 1.4.1 hotfix. She easily handles 16kt crosswinds- the real aircraft has a demonstrated crosswind capability of about 18-20kts Stall behavior also greatly improved with the aircraft now correctly dropping the left or right wing depending on relative wind. Stall recovery behavior is excellent. Prop RPM can still run away on you with application of full power from idle (I'm testing this on go arounds on final right before touchdown). Overall, the aircraft is just superb and it will go down as one of the, if not the finest piston twins ever for any version of flight simulator. To quote Bert Pieke, " the aircraft has personality" which she does in spades. I feel as though I own, and have an true affection for the aircraft- it's not one of those you fly a few times and then move on to something else.

Now with Beta 1.4.0 I can't set the FPM on the ground, even with the autopilot activated. (Using PMS50 GTN 750) EDIT: Took off, AP on in VS mode, 1500 FPM climb set but VS mode not working. HDG and ALT modes not working either 😞 I just tried a flight from KDEN with the PMS50 GTN version and was able to set the VS on the ground with the autopilot in FD mode. I set HDG as well and after takeoff I engaged the autopilot and it maintained heading and the 1,000 fps I had set in VS. So apparently I am not experiencing the issue you are having.

Thanks for your input. Strange we're not seeing the same. I see the Beta 1.4.1 Hotfix is out so I'll try it with that. 1,000 fps !!! Wow, you must have gone into orbit 😉
April 6, 20224 yr Have found two texture bugs so far. One on the right landing gear brake hose and one on the fuel selector - should be called Right Engine. Win 10 Pro | P3Dv4.5 | X-Plane 11 | MSFS 2020 | I5-9600K @ 4.8GHz | RTX 2070 8GB | 32GB RAM | SSD | T.16000M
April 6, 20224 yr In hotfix 1.4.1 when starting a flight from a parking space the right fuel selector is still pointing to the left main.
April 6, 20224 yr I know that I mentioned this before regarding the mouse cursors on the cabin altitude knob. There is a clockwise mouse cursor for increasing the cabin altitude but the cursor for decreasing the cabin altitude is a zero with a line through it instead of a counterclockwise cursor.

In order to move the HSI compass card you have to flip the LH DG switch to UNSLAVED, then push in the right HSI knob and adjust the HSI. If you then flip the LH DG switch back to NORM the HSI will slave again.
April 6, 20224 yr There is a shadow anomaly in walkaround 3B. If you look down slightly when selecting selection 3B you see the shadow at the bottom of the image. But if you then move the view left or right the anomaly follows. It seems the camera position is too low causing this issue.

To the Developer: I can also attest to improve rudder control in a landing/approach. Smooth. But sometimes taxing is difficult after landing. Something wrong with rudder trim reset? This is not exclusive to FlySimWare. The Kodiak and JF Arrows can do this sometimes as well. The brakes feel stuck sometimes. Its as if the brakes get stuck or locked up. Is this modeled or a bug or operator error? Graphics/Textures: When using the drone camera with the cabin doors open, at certain angles, the doors "seem" to disappear as closes, then while panning around again they will appear open. I have no liveries installed. Just use the GNS750 version. Thanks for fixing the landing light switch.
