New Toolbar Pushback update with performance fix

Recommended Posts

According to https://flightsim.to/file/15033/toolbar-pushback, new update has just been released:

Quote

Changelog:
# Version 1.4.1
* FIXED: Add-on panels are no longer resizable when closed.
* FIXED: Possible incompatibility with other third party toolbar add-ons is resolved.
* FIXED: FBW A32NX aft and cargo door buttons no longer swapped when using certain liveries.
* IMPROVED: General performance improvements of the Pushback Planner.
* ADDED: Door buttons in the aircraft tab for the new Aerosoft Twin Otter.

So it seems this update will hopefully fix the performance degradation issues that some of us are having.

Does anyone know if it has been substantiated that ToolbarPushback actually causes a performance degradation? If so, has a reason for the loss been explained anywhere? Thanks.

Great. I purchased the FS 2 Crew Pushback, and I don't care for it at all. You can't even steer the pushback vehicle. I will uninstall it this morning.

Just out of premature curiosity, is it compatible now with Fenix's A320? (Will download Toolbar Pushback later and find out 🙂

Thanks.

Later: Downloaded the file and saw that the date of the changelog is March 17, 2002. So I guess the downloaded version (will try it later today) is still not compatible with Fenix A320

Not sure, Bob, that this version of Toolbar Pushback will work for you as the date on its changelog is March 17, 2022. So beware.

FS2Crew push back was the worse purchase I Made for MSFS. I deleted it,

But I warn anyone thats you cannot just un-install it like a normal programe, even after an un-install you will still have the tab in you msfs tool bar, you have to goto windows programe files folder find another programe there FS2Crew xxx and in there use the un-installer there, I also founds folder all over the place. A huge waste and a pile of dodo.

Lets hope this now works with the Fenix.

O Boo just read its an old topic................FFS

You are right, this is the version I installed months ago. This thread is old.

This thread is from March 18, there is no update. Maybe don't resurrect old threads with "XXX updated" in the title!

I had performance degradation during a long flight on Saturday and this mod was not installed.

That one is a very well known, reported bug.

I had used Toolbar pushback for months with no problems. When Fenix issued their latest update, they warned that users could run into problems with this Toolbar App, so I uninstalled it and purchased the FS 2 crew Pushback. Anyway, I am reinstalling the Toolbar this morning, and see if I have any problems. The FS 2 Crew PB is worthless.

To be honest I'm kind of burned with Toolbar Pushback. Since deleting it I've not had any degradation problems.
The patch notes do not really suggest that it has been fixed once and for all, so I'll stay away from it until everybody says it works fine.
