April 6, 20224 yr It's probably something I've done, but.... I had the desktop gauges working nicely, but now they don't survive after the prog is closed and restarted. They're coming up in the correct position, but only as icons. I can click the reset button for each one and resize and then they work fine, until the next time I restart. (and I remembered to save the database each time as well). I had two saved layouts, and each time that I loaded them the gauges were the correct size, but then when I restarted the prog they were back to icons again. This happened with two saved layouts, one with the gauges on my main centre screen, and one on my "top" screen, ( I have four monitors). Everything worked perfectly before, even the two layouts. The only change I can think that I've made was installing the AAO update. Edited April 6, 20224 yr by glider66 typos and addition
April 6, 20224 yr Commercial Member That sounds weird. Would you mind sending me an email? Address is on the last page of the manual. Also, try saving them as a new layout after you've resized the FIPs. LORBY-SI
April 12, 20224 yr Author Thanks for investigating my problem so thoroughly. You've now fixed it completely, and my gauge layouts haven't since missed a beat. They pop up exactly as they were laid out, size and position. Edited April 12, 20224 yr by glider66 typo
April 13, 20224 yr Any chance of letting me on the secret also? I have the same problem, Thanks. Edited April 13, 20224 yr by johnbla

This is caused by a weird problem in AAO, to be fixed in version 2.29. That version is not ready for release yet. If you want, send an email with your proof of purchase to the support address (on the last page of the manual), and you can have the current devel version 2.29 too.
