Can’t hear the ident in any aircraft

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

I cannot hear the navaid morse code ident in any aircraft - it-‘s far too quiet. Can this be adjusted? All the sound levels in the main menu are at 100%. has anyone else experienced this?

cheers

Yes, same here, flying the Baron G58. Similar with the 500ft warning on approach coming from the G1000. That one is somewhat better actually but I would love to be able to adjust that to be much louder as it is really quiet per default. Adjusting the different sound levels in the general settings did not really help.

Interesting because I could sear that I was able to successfully listen to a Morse code at certain VORs on my beloved M20 Ovation.

Me too, but the volume is unrealistically too low.

That I do remember. It was a little low, but it worked. Low is fine as long as it works.

How do you turn the Morse on and off (in a 310r)?  I cannot hear it at all, perhaps it is "low volume" but it seems "off" to me.

And on the other hand I keep on hearing the marker, even if I have pushed the marker button to on...

Amazing that this only has 14 votes... it’s been broken since the beginning 😂

Nav1 has never worked for me in any plane and the rest of the morse codes are indeed too low volume.

Only way to hear them is to set the Headphone Simulation option.
