Do we have a release date as I'm not sure I can handle too much more of the Hallelujah trail being offered by MSFS lol and need to get back to some normality lol Hallelujah!!!

I honestly thought we would be free of Microsoft paid people by now but were not, meaning that XP12 has to be something unique and not by graphics and not by 3d developers but by its own support! Who uses XPlane is the marketing and promotion apart from US military lol , Airbus, Boeing, Embraer  the flight instructors as well as the farmer and helicopter pilots are just a few to name!. I feel that XPlane 12 can offer something to all these people who want to learn about flying and even acquire there license.

You mean the one they're introducing for helicopters? Don't know, XP helicopter flight model is already very good. 🤷 Anyway XP already has had wing bending applied to its flight model for years. That's soft body physics.

Oh they're INTRODUCING it which means it isn't in yet. MSFS has wing flex too so that's not much to talk about. MSFS has soft body physics simulated on the fuselage of the aircraft too! So think before you call anything trash. I don't think either sim has a trash FM. They trade weaknesses and strengths.

No! I meant, MSFS is introducing soft body for helicopter physics. Asobo mentioned it some time ago.

Wing bending per se doesn't mean anything. Infact FSX already had wing bending, but it was just cosmetic. In XP, it has an effect on the flight model.

Regarding the flightmodels of XP and MSFS, they both have strong points and flaws, but this attitude that the XP flight model is the holy grail is incomprehensible to me. I say this as an X-Plane user.

Not mentioned any particular sim. There are a lot of general purpose flight sims: MSFS, FSX, Aerofly, P3D, etc. Maybe some of them might have a garbage flight model.
