So far I have 3 flights no CTD... knock knock knock.. I'll give it a go in 10 days when I can fly again. Fingers crossed! It's really demoralizing to CTD 4 hours into a flight with the perfect IMC weather waiting for you at arrival. 😭 Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory. The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune. There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

Sometimes it's at the gate when preparing sometimes it's mid flight sometimes it's on approach. When there is no clear pattern for CTDs (certain addons, areas), it could be worth trying the tdr delay regedit. Google for it. As for the record I am yet to have a single CTD with the maddog (knock knock knock), while I had quite a lot in the past months with other aircraft (mostly the FBW). If i buy the 800 and 900 for MSFS, im already paying more than i did for the same variants in P3d. How on earth is PMDGs price strategy already more consumer friendly? Each variant is not for a lower price than before either. PMDG priced these things higher than before and im astounded at how many people are ok with it. Im begging you to show me the numbers and probe me wrong. Seriously, please prove me wrong. In P3D I had to buy the NGXu base package for $99 giving me the 800 and 900. I have absolutely no interest in either model, and never flew either one a single time. But the base package was a pre-requisite to install the 700 - the only model I did want. That was an additional $25 for a total of $125. I also wanted to occasionally fly the cargo and BBJ versions of the 700. Each expansion package was an additional $30, for a grand total of $185. In MSFS I will get just the 700 with the freighter and BBJ included for just $70. Since it is a stand-alone product, it has no pre-requisite to install any other variant first. Seems eminently fair and reasonable to me! Now, I realize that I am probably in the minority in only wanting the 700, and I admit that I’m very happy that it’s coming out first, but the same pricing would hold true if I wanted (for example) the 800, with the proviso that I would have to wait until August to get it. The main people who are at a pricing disadvantage are those who want every 737 variant in the PMDG product line, or who really want only the 800, but don’t have enough self-control to wait an additional 3 months to get it, and will buy the 700 just to get “a” PMDG aircraft NOW. This is where I'm at. I'll be happy with the 700 variant and might get the 800 later not at release when they have a sale going on at a discounted price. I have zero interest in the 900 variant and 700 and 800 will serve me for years.
May 9, 20224 yr Still no luck with CTD's it's unflyable right now. I guess I have to send a support ticket and wait for the next update.

May 9, 20224 yr TBH I have gotten these types of crashes in other aircraft and I think it's related to the sim more so than the addon. I have experimented with different settings and so far no luck as to any rhyme or reason for these crashes. Sometimes they happen and sometimes they do not.

Also for you: Try the tdr delay regedit (set to 60s each). Can‘t hurt but could stop CTDs completely. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord.
