Yes that's the most frustrating part after a perfect flight just before the arrival... Don't have this particular issue but most of us have been there at some point...

Is there a AutoSave option if users have FSUIPC for MSFS?

That’s a very useful feature in FSX and P3D.

I haven't checked that yet and I need to install the event viewer to do so. Will look into it tomorrow I gave up for today.

The event log viewer is part of windows. Just go to the control panel and search on 'event'. I think the applications error logs are under 'Windows' > 'Applications'.

Also for you: Try the tdr delay regedit (set to 60s each). Can‘t hurt but could stop CTDs completely.

Thanks for the tip. I also disabled HAGS but haven’t had a chance to notice if that did the trick.

I'll probably go and o a complete reinstall of Windows and Sim along with all drivers programs etc. I'm waiting for SU9 patch before doing so. Hope that this will fix some of the issues.

Hello, latest update says simbrief profile added, but i cant find. You see?

Yes there is. Works well.

Hello guys.

First, why this bird need to run nearly all runway for take off? I also see this at various youtube videos.

Second, What simbrief profile for this aircraft are you using?

Would need to know the aircraft loaded weight and air temp but I so far I've not been doing any high gross takeoffs either and have been taking off with plenty of runway left.

I remember an AA Maddog flight about 10 years ago KLAS-KDFW

Late afternoon and it was brutally hot- about 120 degrees outside- full house and heavy.

I remember that we were really haulinga$$ and still hadn't rotated and I was beginning to wonder if we were going to end up in the strip mall off the end of 08...

Thank you. Maybe my flights was with full of load. I ll check again.

One question, What is that sound(like ball is falling) before touch down?

hello, at landing phase i have some problems with this a/c. before landing i disconnect auto pilot and aircraft tend to nose up. yhen before touch down at 20 feet slowly cutting down thrust and again aircraft tend to nose up and with flare aircraft floatin on runway.

how is your landing technic with this bird?

You need to think ahead, since the old school flight controls have quite some inertia.

Make sure you entered the correct take off weight in the perf calculator (it‘s NOT what is shown on the indicator in the cockpit, unless you manually entered ZFW before!). Also make sure you are setting the correct FLEX TMP, and make sure you are correctly engaging AT when starting the take off.

I have corrected this, during take off, i have realized autothrottle had gone to clamp mode and cut back thrust. now i engage autothrottle after setting take off epr manually.

Glad you found out the reason. Yeah just like in the 737 when you touch your physical throttles in CLMP (/ HOLD mode in the 737) they will be reset to their actual position instead of the one commanded by AT
