Here in the glorious Republic of Kiribati, it's a 153.07 MB update in Steam and then a solid 8.72 GB update in the sim.

Of course, if you know anything about time zones you know that here in South Tarawa we're far in you future.

We've been flying SU9 for ages now.

Here is a picture of a towering cumulonimbus cloud, or possibly a deadly volcanic eruption, that I captured on a recent flight in MSFS while piloting the Level D 757.

In addition to PMS GNS530, the Working Tittle mod for the CJ4 has already been updated to version 0.12.13.

Any words yet about SU9 compatibility issues with existing add-ons/mods?

Cheers, Ed

Where do you find the update in the store?

Last time it started updating from within the simulator, now I have to search in the store.

The Xbox App, once that's completed, launch MSFS and download the rest.

@mtr75 Great commentary! Is that updraft always there on approach? Like you almost have to push the nose down to avoid floating and running out of runway.

It has been greatly increased since the last version of the sim. It's like being catapulted forward. But it is realistic. Makes SBH much more of a challenge!

I don’t see anything in the notes about improved weather and clouds? Other than fixing clear skies.

I fly the Caribbean pretty much exclusively. I've never seen actual Caribbean weather until SU9 beta. Can't explain it, but that's my anecdotal experience. Weather in the Caribbean before was very vanilla.

I don't have a Xbox, I have the MS Store version.

Why is the update procedure different every time?

How to I get rid of text across the bottom of screen air speed, AOA, Fuel, Engine etc....?

OK, the update turned every ##@@ adjustment to EASY.  I had to reset everyone of them.

And some (actual) SU9 clouds in the Asobo 747, somewhere over the Atlantic with real-time weather. RTX 3090, volumetric clouds set to ultra.

Don't forget to finish the updates in Content Manager, clear any rolling cache, and check your graphics and assistance settings (as they may have been reset).
