PSXT_MSFS installation problems...?

Recommended Posts

PSXT_MSFS will automatically scan your Community folder for your installed liveries  and your Community and Official folders for add-on airports at each start of PSXT_MSFS.

That works like a charm if PSXT_MSFS can find your Install Packages Path (see MSFS FAQ), because then it will know where your Offical and Community folders are.

However, If this does not work, because you are using a custom setting, you must specify where your Official and Community folders really are, in the IPP textbox in the User Interface (UI).

Specify a full path up to (but not included) the Community/Official folders (not ending with a \). Don't forget to press Enter when you are finished typing...

For example:  D:\Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator

When you really have  D:\Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Official and D:\Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Community in your PC.

Continue with automatic scanning.

As an alternative you can switch Automatic scanning off and set parameters to your Official and Community folders yourself in the parameters.xml file, see the Manual, sections 4.1 and 5.1.
