w/ specsI went back to FSX RTM because SP1 took the enjoyment of bush flying away. RTM gives me a solid and playable 19 fps w/ no stutters, but SP1 gives me 9-12 fps w/ stutters, not to mention the slightly reduced autogen. What part of SP1 would cause this to happen?A64 3700+ (stable Oc @2.88Ghz)2Gb PC3200XFX GeForce 7900GS XXX (factory overclocked)

It's something with the autogen, I think. In pre-FSX I could set autogen to Very dense or even Extremely dense and still have an fps off around 20, depending on other settings. But with SP1 going from Normal to Dense (not even Very dense!) let's fps drop from 20-23 to 10-12! And that regardless of other settings: even with EVERYTHING turned off autogen at Dense alone limits fps to 10-12. So there definitely is something wrong with autogen iself imho. I have to say though that autogen at Normal isn't TOO bad. But now the blurries become more apparent...

>O! Similar to going GOLD I guess. Thanks.Well, no, not really. Going gold means the software is ready to be burned on cd's/dvd's to be released to the public. RTM 'means' (not literally) that you've installed the software from the cd/dvd and didn't change anything after that. You could say RTM sort of stands for 'a clean install, straight out of the box'.
