AVIAWORX FLYBYWIRE

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, the Flybywire, I use it with all planes and it works great, only I have problems with the Leonardo Maddog, which when I activate it, it becomes paralyzed, I can no longer move the joystick, what can be the problem?

Yeah, doesn't work with Milviz PC-6 or the JustFlight Arrows either. No big deal as they fly great without FBW.

Works great on TBM with mod, DA62 with mod.

Why would you want to use a "FBW" system on an AC that is one of the most realistic addon AC out there? Not to mention it is an analog aircraft using control tabs to move its control surfaces. Yes I know what AVIAWORX FLYBYWIRE is.

Because Aviaworx Flybywire is a fantastic tool, even if some planes are old, but the simulator tends to nervous shots that are not absolutely realistic, Flybywire perfectly corrects these unreal shots, that's why I wanted it to work, hopefully in the future.

Probably not.  Leonardo beta team member.

This seems to be a bit of software named ‘aviaFlyByWire’, not the Flybywire A320NEO.

By using said software you ruin the analoge nature of the AC. I don't think I need to say anything more.

How Does It Work?

aviaFlyByWire intercepts your flight control hardware’s aileron and elevator signals (let’s call them X and Y values) and redirects these signals to a flight control loop. This then interprets the raw signals and uses them to command roll and pitch rates (the more you deflect your elevator, the faster the pitch change). Finally, the control loop calculates the actual aileron and elevator surface positions and sends these output signals to the aircraft. Very similar to the fly-by-wire mechanisms found in complex airliners.
