Got it to start, and now an update???

I finally got MSFS to start up, and it says that I have a large update. Anyone else see this. ? It says it is 30 GB. What hell is going on.

People are reporting on the MS Forum that all their settings were trashed.  I am not installing this until I find out more about what it is for.

"All" would include controller settings.  Yes?  That is the only one that would be a pain to remedy the rest is a nothing burger.

I think this is a train wreck going somewhere to happen.

Well it told me it needed 30 GB for this "downdate".

For the size, it's like another sim. I would wait and not install this.
