PMDG 737-700 has been released!

For me this is the worst performing plane FPS wise. In cockpit view I get half the frames I get in the exterior view - 30 vs 60ish.

As a comparison i get roughly 50FPS at LAX with FBW in cockpit view.

What system do you have. Mine is not overly sophisticated but with vsync at 30 in-sim and seetings to high and ultra I have no stutters whatsoever, including at 3PD airports like KORD, KBOS, LGAV, EKCH or EDDH, all extremely smooth

Zan, remind me - does the wind uplink file go in the same folder as the flightplan?

You sure you haven't put a filter on the aircraft selection or are missing it somehow? I would be very surprised to find out you have to edit some config file to be able to select a different model.

Nope.

The aircraft you can select are:

  • 737-700
  • 737-BBJ
  • 737-700 BDSF

The winglet options do seem to be set on the actual livery rather than anything else.

I opened OC and actually every livery or their winglet spec.

You’ll want to be on FS Actions > Ground Services on the FMC and there you will have a number of options.

i9-9900kf, RTX 3080 on Ultra.

I don't get stuttering - just much lower FPS in cockpit view than im used to getting.

Just took my first quick flight and all went great. However, for some reason I wasn’t able to adjust the trim beyond either 1 or 2. Any ideas?

Cheers, Pete

Misinterpreted your initial post then. Stutters are no fun, fps I ignore in general since FSX times as long as the sim feels smooth, i.e. unless they cause stutters. Having my fps locked at 30fps they cannot drop much more 🙂. But all smooth and fluid

i7-9700K @ 4.9Ghz and 3080. I get around 25fps at LAX and FlyTampa KLAS. FBW is 37 locked everywhere.

Hmmm, wonder why mine is so bad. Thanks for that test.
