Presumably as the ProSim is simulated external to the MSFS environment they don't use WASM.

In aircraft like the CRJ (and I assume the 737) the aircraft in P3D is coded in C++ uses draw calls to GDI+. The same C++ code (for graphics) running under WASM uses NanoVG for rendering. It does not have to be done that way, and apparently with ProSim, Fenix can move almost everything out of the sandboxed WASM container.

I just installed it and first run took 9 minutes. Not bad - comparable to the CRJ.

Which are your system specs?.

Haven't purchased the B737NG yet (will do, of course). On my computers, as far as I can remember, the CRJ took around 7-8 min to load for the first time. if the B737 is in that range, it's Ok.

it was about the same as the CRJ for me. just let it sit. monitor your CPU usage and you'll see it's working. if it drops to 0% usage and it's been more than 20 minutes, then i'd say it probably froze.

4790K OC to 4.2 GHz, GTX1080ti, 32GB RAM - adequate, but not high end by any means. I did one quick flight, and performance was very good

Thanks, and yes, good system but as you say, we both maybe don't have the latest. So, it's really excellent news to know the B737NG is Ok with it.

Btw, do you also own the Maddog MD-80?. I suppose the first load would be in the same time range.

The Maddog was quite a bit longer actually. About 20 minutes
