terrain elevations around NZQN after today’s update

Recommended Posts

Hi all
Could someone have a look at the terrain elevations around NZQN after today’s update. Mine have gone very wrong. Rivers on hillsides and cliffs where there should be no cliffs.
Thanks in advance if you can have a look and or give advice.
Best wishes
Bob

Hi

Thanks (I think) I disabled Orbx NZ mesh and the elevation issues have gone away

Although I think this sim is a excellent piece of software I am beginning to wonder if there will ever be a update that does not screw it up for some users.

Thanks again

Best wishes

Bob

Hi Bob (!!) ... I'm also having the odd elevation problem with SU9 + NZ Orbx mesh (some areas around NZAR appear under water). Just trying with it disabled  - will report back. That is ... if I can tear myself away from the PMDG 737 LOL!

I hope the next WU is there, because I absolutely have the necessity to fly in NZ.

Milford Sound free scenery was also not working with SU9 + Orbx mesh.

Hi Adam

Good to hear from you

The 737 is a work of art

However life with MSFS2020 appears to be.  Get a magnificent add on on Wednesday.  Then a sim update screws up another  magnificent update on Thursday.

Was P3D like this?

Best wishes

Bob

I've tried every combination of NZMF+mesh and none worked with SU9 - so I popped a note on the dev's page on Flightsim.to.

Since you are informed, what about the free meshes available on flightsim.to? Are they well integrated with the sceneries?

Bijan's (payware) mods work well - and I think are slightly better than REX Accuseason as they also colour the underlying tiles (bleow whatever autogen trees are placed).

Bob: here are some comparison shots:-

Above: with ORBX NZ Mesh and (below) without the mesh:

Both shots are with iniBuild's NZQN active.

Adam.
