Sorry if I am not supposed to post a question on NavdataReader here 🙂

MSFS pilot here, using NR regularly to create an SQL file for FS ATC Chatter from Stick and Rudder Studios. FS ATC Chatter uses the SQL file to chose radio frequencies to play contextual chatter... It's normally working great and I just run an update whenever MSFS is updated.

The last couple of updates I actually sat watching the screen output while NR was running - yeah... get a life. It's a bit like watching the code from the Matrix though 😉

I noticed a lot of warnings and wonder if that is OK... at the same time FS ATC Chatter is also (I think) reporting more radio frequencies 'Out of Range' even in regions that are not remote. Today Scotland and Italy. I have only seen that in the past when the SQL file is out of date or in remote regions. So I thought maybe there is a connection with a bad SQL file?

The NR log file from a run tonight is here... does it look OK?

BONUS INFO ADDED:

Flight started at LICP. MSFS radio tuned to Traffic frequency. Normally FS ATC Chatter will then pick that up via SimConnect and play contextual chatter but today reported ‘Out of Range’.

Landed at LICT. MSFS radio tuned to Tower frequency to get landing clearance. FS ATC Chatter reported ‘Out of Range’.

Why are you posting in a forum that has nothing to do with Navdatareader?

@pgde - thanks for your constructive reply. Could you suggest an alternative?

In answer to your query: Since NR is written by Alex and a companion tool to LittleNavMap…

No problem since I'm also the developer of this tool (and the core of this tool is a part of LNM) but you better send me an email or post in the Github discussions for LNM which is more for development/database stuff.

The log messages are mostly internal/developer and therefore are not formatted nicely. I already reduced a lot of the warnings for MSFS recently since there comes a lot of weird stuff from the scenery library. Looks like I have to check again.

Not sure what this means. Frequency out of range? I just fixed a bug in the loading code (other post in this forum) where I found frequencies of value "0" in MSFS data which is actually not correct. Another weird thing from MSFS. These were probably introduced with one of the latest MSFS updates.
