May 13, 20224 yr Found this really handy takeoff and landing calculator through a reddit post. It's from Captain Tux on the X Plane website. It's a bit weird to get up and running, but it is very handy, and there are a ton of planes you can use it with as well as create your own profile for different planes. Here's the link to the X-Plane Page and Here's the link to the Google Drive containing the download It's basically a BAT file that you can use to either open a window in your browser, or use a QR code to open on your phone or tablet. These are the settings I use for the PMDG 737. MTOW 70307kg / 155000lbs MLW 58604kg / 129200lbs MZFW 55202kg / 121700lbs BEW 38510kg / 84900lbs Max. Fuel 20891kg / 46057lbs You'll click on "Editors" in the toolbox to create a new profile for the plane you're using. In the upper right hand side, there's a little gear box where you can change your units from Meters/Feet, lbs/KG, and select your weather source from NOAA/VATSIM/IVAO. When you do your calculation, simply putting in your departure airport and runway will populate the winds, temp and QNH/Altimeter. You'll have to decide (just as in real life) if you're using anti-ice, engine bleeds, and whether the runway is wet, dry, etc. Props to Captain Tux!
