Second monitor external view

Recommended Posts

I would like to have the external view displayed on my second monitor while I have the cockpit view on my main monitor.

Is there a way to do this.

Roy

Not at this moment as there is no real multi screen support yet in MSFS

There must be some support.  Right now I have both G1000NXi screens displayed on the second monitor.  (Hold right ALT + mouse click)

That's just a bunch of javascript in an integrated browser - very different from rendering the entire sim twice.

This can easily be done today if you use AirManger.

I use 4 screens on my sim computer, often using 2 more computers or tablets (iPads) for instruments and FMS as well as charts.

Wasn't looking for something quite that elaborate, but I'm glad to know it can be done.  Beautiful set up.

Thanks,

Roy

The really great thing with AM is that you can use a touch screen monitor and then both use clicks on screen as well as hardware dials and buttons. Make flying very realistic.

Check out AirManger and Knobster videos just to get the idea.

It is very easy to set up but can get quite advanced as you add hardware as well.
