has anyone programmed a key to move MFD range up or down ?

anyone crack the code on how to use a key or key press to move mfd zoom in our out or zoom level? I'ts annyoing and one we use in real life all the time while flying...

At the moment you need an external program to do this, such as Spad, Axis and Ohs, etc. You have to do it through Simconnect as MSFS doesn't have a key command for it.

Just to say that, as Phantoms advised, I've just successfully binded keys to the G1000 MFD's range in and out buttons; using Axis and Ohs.   Note that there are two sets of listings for these keys; one in the autopilot section (which do not work) and one under the 'HTML assignments' section (beginning with "AS1000....", which do work.

You can also map the zoom in and out of the GNS430 and 530 too..... woo hoo!  So much better in-sim.

Sadly, there are no assignments whatsoever for the G3X (range buttons nor anything else).
