Recommended Posts

Hey guys so recently my XP11 Was facing a fps issue. For example i get about 70 fps in xp and every like half a second it drops down to 20 so it happens all the time and the game feels like fluctuated so i was wondering if i can find help from someone.

Thanks!

Would be important to know if you're in OpenGL or have opted for Vulkan in the game settings ? It can make a good difference, depending on your system specs.

If possible, give "Vulkan" a try by enabling it and then restarting XP11.53.

Check your antivirus settings and exclude XP from routine scanning.

This would be the first place I would check.

Strange indeed ... Another shot - turn hyperthreading  OFF in your Mobo if you can, and then check again.

I believe it was said that the latest versions of XP11 were neutral to this, but the first versions did suffer in performance from havinh HT on ( I believe it is called differently in AMD parlance ? )

I tried that too it's not working. Fsx runs perfectly fine when i play it even xp used to run very well before but im not sure what happened tho. This happened to me last year i simply reinstalled my Graphics driver and everything was fixed and i reinstalling my graphic card when this happened hoping it would be fixed nothing happened.

Does your PC have an inboard Graphics Card ? If so could it be the case that XP11 is using the onboard GC instead of the correct card ?

In what Windows version are you ?  If XP10, is an upgrade to XP11 possible in your case ? In my case I gained in performance and am satisfied with Win 11.
