Unfortunately we are not providing demo - because application uses cloud services costs which are expensive.
But there are many videos on YouTube for good and for bad - we can also answer any question.

Too bad. I just want to try before I buy. Videos on YouTube can be pretty informative, however, they won't predict how a product will run on my system. In particular I am curious how, if any, the performance hit will be.

Flight1 does have a refund policy if it does turn out to be something you can't use. I've read where some have returned it because it wasn't for them.

Guys, what other ATC addon do you know of that controls AI traffic? It's not ready for prime time quite yet but the dev is busy working on it. It's at least worth keeping an eye on this one, it shows a lot of promise. I bought it even though it's not VR ready yet and I only fly in VR. A lot of headset on/off going on. 😄

How are you liking it so far? Specifically the handing of the AI traffic since I have yet to see a video that really focused on that. It seems like the Devs are really working hard. I've noticed they have made quite a few changes in the last 3 weeks.

For me, it comes down to simplicity. It downloads your Simbrief flight plan and you're set, just ask for clearance when ready.

It communicates with AI traffic and seems to inject the right airlines, calls them by the correct callsign. I can see the traffic (if in range) on TCAS in the Fenix. Not by any means perfect but on the right track.

I'm still figuring out what it can and cannot do (I've only had it for a day) but the dev is actively pushing to make it as realistic as possible.

I'd like to see a developer's road map, then people could decide if it meets their expectations.

I use PF3 with MSFS, are there advantages using FSHud if I'm looking more into ATC procedures (vs. AI behaviour is less important for me currently)?

As someone who has used not only PF3 for years but also Radar Contact, Pilot2ATC and PROATC/X I can say that for core ATC functionality PF3 is head and shoulders above all the others I have tried. While there is still a lot of room for improvement with PF3 and not least that it like Pilot2ATC was just ported across to MSFS, I think you will find that for core ATC functionality FSHUD extremely limited compared to PF3, FOR NOW. .

Despite this I am monitoring  FSHUD closely and considering buying it even though I know its no where near being the finished article.. We are long overdue a stand alone ATC product that embraces the opportunities a new sim like MSFS brings to the table and FSHUD is the most likely to achieve this and deserving of the support to do it.

Thank you for your input, however I cannot make of this whether it works or not. Does FSHud use that content.xml?
