Hi..I tried that but continue to get this error.  The path is not my correct MSFS path (Official/Community) but every time I put in the correct path I still get the error message and it reverts back to this default path.

Ugh...I think you've made it too difficult now.  It was working fine when it could find paths automatically.  Now too confusing putting in all these paths and lines.

It is meant to make it easier for new users. Psxt can still find your installation path automatically. .

Please post your problem with the Log.txt in a new thread.

It was a bug from my side. You could try 31.9.1. Good chance it will work now.

(P3D is a lot easier than MSFS. In P3d I can ask the registry for the install path. For some dark reasons MS does not do that anymore for MSFS. And the different installations, Store, Steam and disk, does not make it easier for me  :-[).

@Knich That will not help, you need the parameters.xml file used with 31.8.0, but that one will be gone.

So just use 31.9.2 and set your MSFS path if needed.

Ok...it is working again.  I still needed to set MSFS path and matching depths.  Thanks. 

Never had to set MSFS path after an update before.

I have read all the comments on this thread and have downloaded 31.9.2 and some are reporting the bug fixed, however I have the same problem, Error 43.... Recently had to recover windows and my previous version worked with a little fiddling. I am not great with computers and get confused easily. Is my pathway set properly, not working on auto scan or when I set the pathway. I have tried shortening the pathway also but the full pathway keeps re-appearing. Any advice is appreciated. The pathway I am using is C:\Users\karlj\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\community\aig-aitraffic-oci-beta .I have MSFS Steam version.

Thanks, Just watched a pieinthesky tutorial video and seen that. Unfortunatley when i start psxt the longer  C:\Users\karlj\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\community\aig-aitraffic-oci-beta is in the box every time and reducing it down to the C:\Users\karlj\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages pathway dosent help. Real traffic is working just fine though.  Any ideas what I can try? Thanks for your reply.

Delete the MSFS parameter from parameters.xml first .

It looks like there is no Community folder after the path you typed in... Did you not get that warning in the bottom of the UI?

Look where your Community and Official folders really are and set a path to them (community not included).

It that does not work you can always switch off automatic scanning and set the lfolder0 and afolder0 and afolder1 parameters... However this should not be necessary.

EDIT: don't forget to press Enter after you have typed a path.
