Key combination to save the EXACT pilot view position

I'm not referring to the Ctrl-Alt-Number, but trying to activate Reset Cockpit View.  I do this w/ the A2 button on my yoke.  But to save this view I've been using Ctrl-F9.  The problem is when I do this it does not save it in the exact position I was in--it's offset slightly both vertically and horizontally.  It does capture that offset position and the A2 will bring it up.

Great idea, I just thought I would try that as am in cruise, it shut down my 737 engines.

Really? So sorry I didn't mean that. I really thought that was to save the default pilot view cam position?

Its OK, I know how to do an in flight engine start, so it was sorted out fast 🙂, it was fun, both engines out 🙂

But best not done in the air 😉

I've tried this and it does not get brought back up when executing "Reset Cockpit View".  What brings up what is save when you use Ctrl-F10

If you are anywhere in the cockpit view, either "Ctl-space" or the "F" key will bring you back to the view you set with ctl-f10. Both do the same thing.

It's called "Reset Cockpit View" on the default Keyboard settings list.

Just to be clear, this will not work if you are in external view, nor will it work if you have changed the default keyboard commands.  But it works well if you are in the overhead panel, for example..or anywhere inside the aircraft.

Why not F?

No problem with "F" it is one of the keys that work.  The other is "Ctl-space" they both do the same thing.  It's your choice.  If you have any problem just check your keyboard assignments in the Controls Options to make sure those keys are correctly mapped.

BTW I'm assuming your not using VR.  With VR the process is a little different.
