I am only beginning the journey, loading is very fast and panning equally smooth, being inside the cockpit and outside. will try my usual short "delivery" flight from EDDM to LOWI now, we'll see then...

not even close to PMDG 737 performance on my system, not even close very disappointed

It's that external software that runs it that is killing y'alls performance.  I never liked the idea of having to use software external to MSFS, but since the Asobo code is basically FSX, these developers are forced to use it.

@everyone - for those with low FPS, please remember we have built in an option for you to move the rendering of your displays in the flightdeck from CPU, to GPU, to even your integrated graphics card. Please make use of these options and figure out what works best for you, as MSFS utilises system resources differently across different PCs.

This setting made a big difference on my system. Choosing to run the displays on my CPU gave me 3-5 frames more. Every frame counts in VR. 12900k/3080ti

Very helpful that they are able to provide this setting.

I’m finding slightly better performance through my GPU (3070). Taking off at EGCC with about 29fps pretty smooth actually

Similarly I'm finding it close to if not better performance wise than the 737 (3070Ti)

Sorry that's not true, but anyways no patience to dispel this misinformation/myth ... rather, I shall point you to my earlier post where Aamir outlines how to distribute the aircraft displays rendering load on your cpu/iGPU/GPU: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/619233-fenix-a320-released/?do=findComment&comment=4777473
