I don't own it, but I'm pretty sure the EFB will give you start up options like Cold and Dark, Turnaround, Ready to Taxi, etc...

Yep, but the EFB is dead too.😀

For those with i5s, i7s, i9s etc - you have integrated GPUs on your chips that are never utilized, and it's worth turning them on in the BIOS and using this to render your displays, it's a huge performance gain.

Alternatively, just switch it to your GPU. MSFS uses system resources differently across different systems, and you'll do better on FPS selecting a render method that suits your system better.

what about if you have a 10900 and a 3080?.....set to use 3080?

From Aamir re: FPS issues: https://discord.com/channels/736572376967282769/736710909887643679/976951283149860935 ... so if you are CPU bound (i.e. it is being hammered and highly utilized while GPU is underutilized), then choose your discrete GPU or the GPU onboard your CPU.

@everyone - for those with low FPS, please remember we have built in an option for you to move the rendering of your displays in the flightdeck from CPU, to GPU, to even your integrated graphics card. Please make use of these options and figure out what works best for you, as MSFS utilises system resources differently across different PCs.

Now that’s a brilliant option is like to see in other aircraft!

You have to switch it on. It runs on a battery which can be recharged when the aircraft is powered.

I tried , but while typing this it lit up.

Now it wants a pass code or a 'finger'??

Where does one find the pass code?

Thank you

That's what I did (with my 3090) - works fine.

You are joking??😀

My PC is not a touch screen.

I have tried touching the thumb print to no avail;.

Can you give me a code please, because the initial wonderful purchase experience is turning into a somewhat frustrating 'can't start it' experience.

I love the captions on the loading screen LOL, nice touch!

Performance wise I'm currently on the tarmac at Roman Designs YOW getting high 20's low 30's for FPS...pretty typical for me in an airliner at an addon airport.  I'm about to fly to Fly Tampa CYYZ so we'll see how the performance is there.
