Right next to the International Airport, Lake Hood traffic is worked from a position in Anchorage tower cab.

Been there a few times. A great place to hang out and watch.

Before PANC go their new tower in '78, Lake Hood had an old WW2 job - worked several shifts there.

Anchorage...the only place where I ever saw an Aeronca Champ parked next to a 7-11 store.
