Yes agreed.  I sometimes dream at night that Working Title create a G3X to the same standard as their G1000 NXi.  The current G3X feels very 'gamey' and light; it's main weakness being it's poor FPL representation.  Being unable to do a proper DTO just takes me back to stock FSX avionics.   Meh is definitely the word.   I actually prefer Asobo's Aera to their G3X depiction.

Me too - this is why I'm happy SWS has included the GTN in with the G3X.  I use the TDS rendition.  And is the main reason I'm not flying the RV7.

My hope is to see SIAI Marchetti SF.260 by Jrollon & Claudio to this list with a kind of REP or similar 😉

More devs are doing mechanics not seen until now in MSFS, like Milviz does, so I also hope soon more and more devs achieves high levels of realism.

I feel that beautiful aircraft will remain in the domain of X-Plane. 🙂   Has Javier Rollon made any statements about developing for MSFS?    Again, REP depends heavily on X-Plane's integrated plugin architecture.   I believe such modules in MSFS may require external apps to run, unless Simcoders could do their magic via XML work, through the Community folder.

I could never leave MSFS for XP now, due to the visual fidelity, but there are a list of XP11 aircraft that I really miss:   the Javier/Simcoder's SF260 being one, and all the beautiful Aerobask birds too; particularly the Legacy and new DA50RG.

As far I know, the 3D model is exported and functional on MSFS, no worries here. But the problem is the MSFS FM not being so advanced to achieve the performance desired. My bet is they are waiting a mature SDK.

There was so much praise for the Milviz C310 that I got it to see by myself.

On the F/M I will not speak as I am not qualified.

On the external texturing: great.

The functionalities and 'goodies': great.

My deception is on the gauges. They are quite flat and dramatically lack depth from the default pilot perspective. I would say it is the same as for the C310 Redux for P3D. Some gauges like the ADF look like they come from the FSX era...

I feel like this is how MSFS renders glass.  Move your voewpo6to the copilot seat and look to the left...you'll see the plastic covering the gauges and can better appreciate the depth.

Overall, after a quick flight, I'm happy and will now save the money for the A2A Comanche release for MSFS.
If you are not aware yet, there was a post yesterday by Scott from A2A: '...we are getting so close to unveiling the new Accu-Sim Comanche...this last feature is adding 4-6 weeks to the development timeline, but what we are doing now is something I've always dreamed of doing on several levels...Click here to read the full post

Can't wait for the Comanche, this is the only plane I need in MSFS.

Seeing what MILVIZ did with the 310 ... I cannot WAIT to see what they will come with for their next DHC-2 Beaver. The beaver is for me an iconic bush aircraft and I almost fell into tears when I saw it would be the next one after the 310. They were SO praised with the 310 that they cannot lower the bar for the Beaver. I expect that next aircraft to be out of this world!

Sucks that the iconic Pilatus came before and won't get that treatment.

They aren't doing anything as "in depth" with the Beaver as they did with the 310 unfortunately.

Sadly, that is correct.  The Beaver will not have any of the 310's "special sauce".

That said, we do intend on adding that to the Otter/Totter, B-55 and PA-30 Twinkie...(and MAYBE to the Huey...).  (Yes, we're going through our old catalogue, one plane at a time).

Decision has yet to be made if we will include it in the ATR.  As that's already really REALLY complex, adding more to it seems... well... not such a good idea.

Oh nooooo!!!! 😞 The beaver is such an awesome aircraft. Nothing beat this sound! I flew many Beavers up here in canada while going on remote fishing trip. Unfortunately, I was too young to pilot it at the time.

Just wondering (not complaining here, you guys are doing the job) but is there any reason why you guys are not digging deeper with the Beaver? Is it because you expect less sales? Is it a model not as popular as the other?

How is the c310 update coming along? Not that it needs one right now. TU

A pilot is always learning and I LOVE to learn.

If that is the failures etc, I am not too concerned.. as long as the visuals, sounds, and flight model are done right, I am in 🙂
