Fulcrum One Throttle

Recommended Posts

Sorry, I ended up in a UPS depot. If anyone thinks it is a good idea to start a hardware company then get them committed.

Between electronics delays for yokes to metalwork hold ups for throttles. I have heard that they have some parts for me to look at. I said parts? I was expecting a whole throttle! This week I will be visiting the metalworkers to assess the levers and some other parts that have been laser cut. I am hoping the whole production sample will be ready shortly after because I need to get the order for them in!

The next stage is still the same, as soon as I have the sample that is correct then we will order them all and I will post pictures of a working throttle. I am hoping to know more by midweek.

Thank you all again.

Hi Chris,

Are you presenting your products this year at the FlightSimExpo? I believe you guys could really be the superstar there 😁

Cheers,

Manuel

Chris attended the North West Flight Sim Group monthly meeting yesterday. He brought a pre-production throttle quadrant with him. It cannot connect to a computer at this stage and the body is plastic as opposed to metal in the finished one.

But it’s seriously good. Adjustable tension for all six levers and an ultra-smooth movement. Very easy to grab all four central levers and slam them forward for a simulated Concorde takeoff. 😁

I’ve placed a virtual order. Can’t wait for the finished product. Thanks for the chance to handle it @tutmeister. 👏

That's great to hear, Ray. Really looking forward to getting the throttle!

I hope it's soon because my CH Throttle has bitten the dust! And I've just bought the Black Square Baron. 😢

Thanks for the update Chris! The yoke is already a gamechanger, the combination with the throttle will be awesome. The wait will be worth it and i am looking forward to the Lever upgrade too 😄

Fingers crossed, everything goes fine.

I had a chance to use the pre-production version when Fulcrum brought it to our local flight sim show in mid-April. It’s looking very polished now with a full metal case and very smooth movement in all six levers.

I’ve placed my order and once Fulcrum iron out a few minor tweaks I would imagine production will start in the not too distant future. 👍

Thanks Ray. I have to admit that a part of me was starting to 'twitch' a bit. I just hope the 'Not too distant future' isn't an A2A 'Not too distant future' 😒

Sorry Scott. 😁
